Coffee Plant Corbett St. in John's Landing weekdays ~7-5, close 3 or 4p on weekends A big table and a couple of smaller tables, usually quiet. Great Coffee! Limited hours, can get crowded
The Synapse Vollum Institute, 2M weekdays 8-4 a great hide out between classes

Libraries

OHSU Main Library Main Campus, BICC M-F: 7:30 - 10p, Sun 1 - 5; new 24 hour card access to 4th floor Quiet, medical resources close, private study rooms available limited staffed weekend and evening hours, no good study cubicles, drab.
Vollum Institute Library Vollum 3M, just above the Synapse cafe 24-7 (enter through basic science building) A cozy reading room with a couple nice tables and recliner chairs, close to classes Can be noisy during regular hours, as grad student offices are adjacent
Reed College Library SE 34th & Woodstock (15 mins from campus) weekdays & sundays open til 2:30am gorgeous historic building with lots of quiet study spots, college atmosphere only open M-F during the summer (which starts late may); password protected WiFi
Lewis & Clark Watzek Library (undergrad) SW Portland off Terwilliger 8-9 M-Th, 11-7 Sat & Sun
Lewis & Clark Boley Library (Law School) SW Portland, across from main campus Hours vary by term
